Educational Communicator job summary
Are you committedto improving the lives of deaf children and their families?
Are you an EducationalCommunicator who enjoy working as part of a highly experienced team?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced EducationalCommunicator to provide communication support for pupils whose deafness isdiagnosed as severe or profound. You will enable students to access theacademic and social curriculum and empower them to realise their full potential,under the direction of the IDP Leader. The ability to use your own initiative,working alone and as part of a friendly team, is vital; as is being part of thewider school family. The successful candidate will be supported by the IDP teamwith appropriate continuous professional development.
A minimum of CACDP Level 1 British Sign Language and a commitment tobegin or complete Level 2 is required.
