English Hub Lead job summary

Great Heights English Hub is seeking an ambitious and knowledgeable Hub Lead to drive the operational delivery of the DfE English Hub programme. This is a unique leadership opportunity to champion early reading, phonics, and language development across a network of schools.

About the Role

The Hub Lead will:

  • Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership of the English Hub
  • Line manage and quality‑assure the work of our Literacy Specialist team
  • Oversee the implementation of the annual Hub delivery plan
  • Build strong partnerships with schools and regional/national Hub networks
  • Coordinate school support including audits, showcases, and conferences
  • Support and monitor intensive support programmes with partner schools
  • Contribute to DfE reporting and national Hub activities
