About the role:

We are looking for an additional English intervention tutor to work with individual and/or small groups of selected pupils in Year 11 on a fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will develop those who are not making the expected rate of progress in G.C.S.E. English Language and G.C.S.E. English Literature. The English faculty will provide ongoing support to ensure that this new, exciting role has the maximum impact.

It is essential that the postholder has been educated in English up to GCE A level or level 3 equivalence and has grade B/Grade 5+ in GCSE English. They should also have a PGCE or equivalent and Qualified Teacher Status.
