What skills and experience we're looking for
Would you like to join our fabulous, friendly and dynamic team? We are a two form entry CofE Primary Academy with big ideas.
We are looking for a team player who is excited to take on a whole school responsibility for English. You will be working with a wonderful team across the school, especially the phonics lead and be supported by the senior leadership team.
We are currently reviewing our curriculum and looking forward to hearing your ideas around achieving the highest outcomes for English to build on our success with Read Write inc.
Can you give us;
- Dedication, enthusiasm and commitment
- A good knowledge of key stage one, two and foundation stage and experience of teaching year 6.
- A detailed knowledge of the national curriculum for English
- A desire to be research led in their practice
- Team work and a commitment to self-development
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership experience
