English Subject Leader job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding English practitioner with clear leadership qualities to join our team from September 2020.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and resilient practitioner who is capable of developing themselves further as a school leader whilst contributing fully to life in our Middle School. The successful candidate will be an outstanding English practitioner across years 5 to 8. As our English subject lead you will demonstrate a clear ability to influence and improve the teaching and pedagogy of others, raise standards of achievement for all and take clear actions to bring about and sustain improvement. You will have clear opportunities to work in partnership with school leaders and Trust colleagues to plan and lead whole school priorities, focusing upon reading and writing, across our whole school. You will play a vital role in supporting our school values.
