The Castle School is looking for a part-time English Teacher to join us on a fixed term contract for up to 1 year. This is to cover maternity leave.


About the role

The English Faculty are a collaborative and supportive team of teachers with a wide range of experience and expertise. We pride ourselves on having a fully resourced, pre-planned curriculum which teachers are encouraged to adapt to suit their own teaching styles and crucially to ensure that all children are supported and stretched. We constantly strive to improve upon and develop our schemes of work and our pedagogy in order to ensure the best engagement and outcomes from all our students. We are also passionate about encouraging reluctant readers and driving forward literacy through the implementation of regular reading sessions. Your primary role will be to support and challenge all students to achieve their full potential and achieve academic success through strong classroom practice.
