What skills and experience we're looking for
The English Department are currently expanding
the English Team and are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed
teacher who shares the same values; engaging, empowering and encouraging
students to fulfil their fullest potential.
English Department Information:
- A supportive English Department with varying levels of experience within the English Team
- Collaborative approach in order to support workload and wellbeing of staff
- Recently remapped and refreshed SoW and resources which are distributed amongst the team (KS3 and KS4)
- A developing KS5 A-Level (Language and Literature) is offered to our 6th Form Students
- Capacity for Professional Promotion within the English Department
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is passionate about English Language and Literature
- Is enthusiastic and able to demonstrate innovative and creative teaching practices
- Can work collaboratively as well as use personal initiative
- Be eager to inspire and motivate students to exceed expectations
