Job Title: Teacher of English (Part Time)
Actual Annual Salary: There are two available options of hours to be worked. The actual salary for a 3 day week or a 4 day week:
19.5 hours equates to £18,990 - £29,450 (M1 to UPS3 based on 0.6 FTE)
26 hours equates to £25,320 – £39,267 (M1 to UPS3 based on 0.8 FTE)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 (M1 to UPS3)
Contract Type: Fixed until 31 January 2027 or the return of the current post holder (This opportunity is to cover maternity leave)
Working Pattern: Monday all day, Wednesday all day and Friday all day - If wishing to work four days the pattern can be discussed at interview.

About you:
You will be:
- a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent teaching qualification.
- a subject expert in GCSE English and level 1 and 2 Functional skills English courses
- able to deliver the curriculum in your chosen area and consistently teach high quality lessons across relevant key stages.
- able to meet the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and High Attaining students.
- a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues and build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- able to recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience & learning.
- empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.
- highly competent in all elements of the Teachers’ Standards and your achievements and contribution will be substantial and sustained as an Upper Pay Scale teacher.

About Digitech Studio School Bristol:
Digitech delivers a specialised curriculum for 14 to 19 year-olds, where we offer progression into the creative digital and high-tech sectors. We are located in Warmley, on the outskirts of Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Studio schools are small by design, and we only take 90 students into each year group. This allows us to meet the needs of students in a personalised way.

Digitech is a 14-19 Studio School that is a fully integrated part of the Cabot Learning Federation. We are a specialist studio school providing a bespoke curriculum for the coders, designers, creatives, film makers and entrepreneurs of the future.
The school is going from strength to strength with improving outcomes each year. Student and parent voice is strong.
There are 220 students who study at Digitech and both staff and students enjoy this smaller setting and the benefits that this brings.
