Duties (further details in the attached application pack):

  • Deliver a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum to students of varying ages and abilities to help them achieve their full academic potential.

  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum by working closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression.
  • Establish a positive learning experience that motivates and enthuses students regarding the importance of reading.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's progress, behaviour and development.
  • Organise and participate in exciting and motivating trips and events to enrich the educational experience.
  • Adhere to school quality procedures including regular monitoring, evaluation and review of teaching practices.

We offer:

  • Enhanced CPD, including access to professional networks across the Trust
  • Paid induction and training suited to the role
  • Confidential access to an Employee Assistance Programme
  • Free parking
  • Use of the Cycle Scheme
  • Paid completion of a DBS check
