Enhanced Pathway Teacher job summary
We are seeking a qualified primary or secondary teacher with SEND experience to lead our new Enhanced Provision. This role involves supporting a small group of KS3 students who have communication and interaction needs. Students will be taught a range of literacy- and numeracy-based subjects in this small group, gradually reintegrating into mainstream classes as attainment gaps close. We are looking for an innovative teacher passionate about achieving the best outcomes for all students, especially those with SEND.
The Bridge (FCC’s SEN department) is well staffed, well-resourced and located in the heart of our school. The Bridge benefits from a number of teaching and intervention spaces to support a range of learners and needs. Our caring, committed and skilled team consists of two Inclusion Managers and a SEND administrator, as well as a counsellor, EBBSA provision, ELSA, three Literacy intervention TAs, one Numeracy intervention TA and 8 FTE Grade 4 TAs.
Tours are welcome and encouraged and will take place the second week of term in May.
