An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our school team and play an important role in the school’s journey moving forward. Our new Nursery provision is set to open in January 2025, where the post holder will be crucial to its development and success.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing our new Nursery provision, supporting teaching and learning across Early Years and beyond.
The successful candidate will support our Early Years children as they take their first steps into school life. They may also provide intervention across different year groups or support children’s individual needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.
We are looking for an Early Years teaching assistant who can demonstrate:
- A clear passion for Early Years, including the outdoors
- Confidence in supporting all aspects of children’s development throughout the primary age range
- The willingness to work as part of small, friendly team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective positive behaviour management
- A commitment to ensuring that all pupils achieve the best that they possibly can
- A commitment to their continuous professional development
