What skills and experience we're looking for
Whitehouse Primary School are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who can make a difference to the learning of our pupils within our Alternative Resource Provision. You'll form positive relationships and play a key, rewarding part in improving the outcomes for our pupils.
You will join a supportive, welcoming and motivated school community that works hard to maintain high standards. We are looking for someone who can inspire and influence and has;
- Experience of working with SEN children or 1:1 working would be desirable, as well as using Read Write Inc to support phonics development.
- An ability to collaborate and work successfully as part of a team, communicating well with pupils, parents and carers.
- An ability to develop positive relationships with children, to understand their needs and encouragepositive attitudes to learning.

Further details about the role
This post is part time, 30 hours per week and term time only plus 5 additional days. The role is to start from 18th November 2024 and is fixed term until 11th July 2025 to cover maternity leave.
