Estates Assistant (two opportunities - term time only and 52-week contract) job summary
We are excited to offer two opportunities to join our Estates team at Reading School. We are looking for motivated, proactive and dependable Estates Assistants.
We are offering one position on a 52-week contract and a second position on a term-time only contract.
These roles sit at the heart of our school community, supporting the smooth running, safety, and maintenance of our site. If you enjoy varied, hands on work, take pride in high standards, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you.

Working under the direction of the Estates Manager, the successful candidates will support the effective maintenance and day-to-day operation of the school site. This includes all grounds, teaching areas and residential properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of Health and Safety, security and presentation.
These roles require a flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to provide cover for colleagues during periods of leave or absence, as directed by the Estates Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a busy and varied environment, playing a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school.
