What skills and experience we're looking for

St Teresa of Calcutta Academy Trust Central Team are currently seeking an Estates Compliance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust

The Estates Compliance Officer will provide general support and assistance to the Head of Estates with the management of safety and property compliance throughout the Trust and to ensure statutory activities and planned preventative maintenance is completed in all schools, and keeping appropriate records.

We are seeking an individual who has:

  • Good administrative skills, including record keeping, reporting and keeping a calendar of compliance activities.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workload and be self-motivated.
  • Experience of working with contractors and procuring services
  • Good IT skills, including experience using MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in liaising with people at all levels.

We are part of the Diocese of Salford and our schools span the local areas of Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Salford and Wigan. Our Trust began in 2017, and we currently comprise six schools, four primary and two secondary. Over the coming months and years, we anticipate more Catholic schools to join us on our journey.
