Estates Hub Lead - Southern Hub job summary

Reporting to the Estate Services Manager, and working with and supporting the Site Operation Managers and Primary School Administrators, this position will oversee and support all estates matters in the Southern Hub. Based in Kendal, there will be a requirement for regular visits to the other schools within the hub and across the Trust, so a current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Premises Management: Provide technical input and guidance to the site teams to ensure site security, maintenance schedules, health and safety compliance and emergency response protocols are delivered
  • Leadership: Support the Estate Services Manager to formulate the CET Estates vision and strategy. Plan and deliver small capital project work and support the Estate Services Manager to deliver large capital work
  • Contractor Liaison: Provide advice regarding external contractors, ensuring adherence to health, safety and safeguarding policies across the hub
  • Health & Safety: Undertake compliance audits with regards to but not limited to: COSH, Fire, COSH
  • Statutory Obligations: Ensure that the schools within the hub remains compliant in terms of SENCO, health and safety and asset management

You will have experience within facilities management, site operations or a similar role . Ideally you will have managed multiple teams across different locations. You will also have good communication and organisation skills and be proficient with a range of IT packages.
