Harrogate High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and adaptable Estates
Manager to join our highly motivated team at an exciting time in the school’s growth.
Our ideal candidate will:
• Have experience, or interest in working as a Premises Manager;
• Have experience in overseeing a range of caretaking and cleaning duties;
• Support the development of a Caretaking and Cleaning Hub, to ensure sites have
sufficient and quality support.
• Have experience in liaising with contractors on major projects;
• Be able to provide high quality supervision, training and support;
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team;

HR services for schools in the Partnership are provided by a central HR team, established in January 2021. The team currently consists of four people, including the new People Director, supported by an external payroll provider and an outsourced legal advice service.
The team has achieved a great deal in the last 12 months to set up an HR service from scratch, with a common payroll system, centralised recruitment and resourcing, and two HR Advisers working directly with schools. The team has a critical role in ensuring the Trust maintains the highest standards of safeguarding through its employment policies and practices.
