Estates Manager job summary

The Howard Academy Trust is seeking a highly effective Estates Manager, to start with immediate effect. This role will be based in the Estates Department, within the Central Operations Team of the Trust.

The Estates Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of school estates, ensuring safe, compliant, and well-maintained environments aligned with the Trust’s long-term strategy. The role combines hands-on leadership with oversight of maintenance, compliance, budgets, contractors, and capital projects, while managing facilities staff and collaborating with stakeholders. This position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality, cost-effective estate solutions and drive positive impact across multiple schools.

This is a full time, permanent role, all year round, paid on the NJC pay scale PO2 point 32-39 (FTE £42,839 - £50,269).

The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
