Required from 3rd November 2025 (a later start date will be considered for the right candidate)

(Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 - but could become permanent depending on pupil numbers and budgets going forward)

Pay Scale - Grade 5

2 x 28.75 hrs (Term time only) initially in a Year 5 class for the academic year 2025 - 2026 and supporting SEND in class and undertaking interventions in the afternoons.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an Educational Teaching Assistant to support the year 5 children in their learning. Applications are invited for this job from individuals who are able to work as part of a team to support the learning and welfare of pupils in this school and help children achieve their potential.

We are looking for a candidate who will:

Be supportive of the Catholic ethos and life of our school

Be an excellent classroom teaching assistant with high standards and expectations

Be able to work as part of a team

Support groups of children and help them develop and achieve

Be willing to learn or already have experience of working with children with SEND when needed
