What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you passionate about supporting children to achieve their very best? Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Educational Teaching Assistant (ETA) to join our vibrant and welcoming school community.
We are a four-form entry school at the heart of an ethnically and religiously diverse community and we are incredibly proud of what our pupils achieve during their time with us, as shown in our excellent SATs results. In our most recent Ofsted inspection (February 2023), we were graded Good, with inspectors noting: 'Pupils are safe and happy at this friendly, welcoming school. Their conduct is exemplary in lessons and around school.'
As a highly inclusive church school, spirituality underpins everything we do – our values, our culture, and our commitment to nurturing every child and staff member to reach their full potential. The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an inspiring ETA to work closely with teachers and other staff. You will provide support for individual pupils and groups of children, helping to create a positive learning environment where every child can succeed. The successful candidate will have high expectations, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children to succeed. You will play an important role in helping our pupils thrive both academically and personally within our caring school environment.
