What skills and experience we're looking for

We currently have an opportunity for an evening cleaner to join our facilities team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a Hub of Schools. You will work 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday 2pm – 6pm or 3pm – 7pm) term-time only plus 2 weeks (All working patterns can be discussed including part time, split days and job share).

The role is extremely varied and you will be responsible for a range of areas including:

General dusting of furniture, fixings and fittings

Emptying waste paper bins;

Wiping surfaces, fixtures, fittings, paintwork

Cleaning around toilet areas;

Dust control mopping / sweeping / vacuuming of floors

Using cleaning materials as instructed

Undertaking deep cleaning during the summer

The successful candidate will have an awareness of safeguarding procedures within school and have had experience appropriate to working with children.
