Evening Cleaner job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaner to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our school facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, tidy, and pleasant environment for both pupils and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met throughout the school.

This role includes cleaning classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring that all areas are ready for the next school day. You will be responsible for vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, sanitising surfaces, and handling waste disposal.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar cleaning role, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

12.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Term time + 3 weeks: One week to be worked during the Easter break, one week during the summer holidays, and the final week to be scheduled in agreement with the Site Agent.

Age 17+

This post is subject to Enhanced DBS Clearance, satisfactory references, social media checks, health clearance, and a probationary period. This post is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. CVs cannot be accepted.
