Exam Invigilator job summary
Successful candidates will work under the direction of the Examinations Officer to ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with JCQ regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, fairness and professionalism at all times.
This is a casual, term-time role, ideal for individuals who are reliable, conscientious and able to work flexibly during exam periods. Full training will be provided prior to the first mock examinations in November 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and materials in line with exam protocols.
- Supervise students during examinations, ensuring compliance with JCQ and school regulations.
- Maintain a calm, supportive and professional environment throughout.
- Assist with the collection, checking and secure return of examination materials.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Examinations Officer promptly and appropriately.
- Support students with access arrangements, where applicable (e.g. acting as a reader or scribe).
