Exam Invigilator

Casual role (exact dates as and when required depending on exam periods)

Term time only

Rate of pay £12.21 per hour (£13.68 including holiday pay)


Cams Hill School are looking to expand their pool of casual invigilators to work with the Examination Manager and join a team in the running of all public and mock examinations through the academic year. The post would ideally suit applicants who are highly organised, vigilant and reliable, have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to remain calm under pressure and have the flexibility to be called in at short notice. Mock exams for this academic year are taking place 10 - 21 November 2025, 02 -27 March and 13 - 24 April 2026. The public summer exam period is 07 May - 16 June 2026. There will also be a national exam contingency day on 24 June 2026.

Successful candidates will:

Supervise pupils taking a public and mock examinations

Supervise clash candidates between exam sittings

Prepare exam rooms

Distribute and collect exams papers in accordance with the JCQ regulations

Play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination process

Be provided with full training; no previous experience necessary

Promote and represent the school in positive manner

Working collaboratively will all members of the Cams Hill School community
