Exam Invigilator job summary

We are seeking to recruit examination invigilators to supervise our students taking internal and external examinations throughout the year, but mainly during the Summer examination period (May/June). Examination Invigilators work under the overall guidance of our Examinations Officer and will:

  • be responsible for starting and finishing the examination
  • distribute examination papers to students and collate at the end of the examination
  • maintain the security and integrity of the examination papers
  • monitor students during the examination

Training will be provided to successful applicants and experience is not essential.

We are looking to recruit candidates who have good communication skills, are reliable and have a calm demeanour. Hours of work are flexible and are agreed, with the Examinations Officer, in advance of the commencement of the exam period.
