Exam Invigilator (Casual)

Pay: £12.39 per hour plus holiday pay

We are looking for confident exam invigilators to invigilate various exams within our school. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Supervise exams and support students whilst enforcing strict exam conditions at all times
  • Distribute and collect exam papers and support the Senior Invigilator and other associated staff within the school

Previous experience of invigilating or working in an education setting is preferable. Invigilators will be required for exam periods at various points during the academic year; therefore, successful candidates will need to be flexible

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.

This post will involve contact with vulnerable groups (children, young people and/or adults) and is therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This exemption means that shortlisted applicants for this post will be required to declare all criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands, and bind- overs both spent and unspent in their application, before interview and regardless of the passage of time.
