Helston Community College are seeking reliable, calm and conscientious individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. This role is essential to ensuring that examinations are conducted in accordance with established regulations, and that all students have a supportive and fair environment to succeed.
About the Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will:
· Supervise students during internal and external examinations
· Help prepare the exam room and distribute materials
· Ensure exam regulations are followed at all times
· Provide clear instructions and support students with procedural queries
· Maintain a quiet, calm and orderly atmosphere
· Collect and organise exam papers at the end of each session
We are looking for someone who:
· Is punctual, dependable and well-organised
· Has excellent attention to detail
· Can stay calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations professionally
· Is confident in managing groups of students
· Can work as part of team and follow guidance
· Is available during the main exam periods [e.g. January, March, May-June]
Previous experience would be an advantage; however, training will be provided.
