Exam Invigilator job summary
We are looking for reliable, flexible and trustworthy Exam Invigilators to support our Exams Team during the busy exam periods. The post would suit someone local who is looking for casual hours during the exam periods throughout the academic year, you should be reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly. No experience is needed as training will be given but a willingness to support our young people during times of exam stress is a must.
Working days and hours will vary according to your availability, examination dates and number of invigilators needed for each exam.

About you
As an Exam Invigilator, your presence will maintain the integrity of examinations in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best. You will assist with setting up of exam venues, checking examination packs, assisting candidates and actively invigilating during examinations.
You will be required to check attendance and record relevant details, so good written and verbal communication is essential. It is essential that you possess good interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly, without being confrontational.
Previous experience working with secondary school children would be a distinct advantage as any previous supervision experience, although this is not essential.

Ormiston Sudbury Academy is based in the market town of Sudbury, which is in the southwest of Suffolk, near the Essex border.
