Exam Invigilator job summary
St Clements High School are looking to employ an Exam Invigilator to join their team, to protect the integrity of examinations, helping to ensure optimal exam conditions for all students. To uphold and safeguard the regulations and requirements of the relevant examining bodies.
- Salary: Scale D, Point 6 £13.47 per hour
- Casual Contract there are no fixed hours/weeks.
- Normal working hours will be between 8:00am and 17:00pm. It may be necessary to work out of normal working hours.

Responsibilities will include but not restricted to:
- Supporting the Lead Invigilators with the day-to-day operation of examination venues, by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures,
- Assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations
- Ensuring that candidates do not talk once inside examination venues
- Invigilating during examinations, dealing with queries raised by candidates and dealing with examination irregularities in accordance with strict procedure.
- Acting as Readers and Scribes to support those students with Access Arrangements (training will be provided)
- Complying with Awarding Body Inspections.
