Exam Invigilator job summary
We are looking for casual Exam Invigilators to join our team to cover the exam periods throughout the academic year. You will assist with the efficient administration and invigilation of internal and external practical, onscreen and written examinations for our students. The post would suit someone local who is looking for casual hours during the exam periods - no experience is needed as training will be given but a willingness to support our young people during times of exam stress is a must.
The post is offered on a casual basis. Examinations do not take place on every day of the examination period and therefore, working hours will vary according to the length of the examination, and the number of invigilators required. You will be playing a vital role in supporting the academy by providing important support to our students.

About the role:
Your presence will maintain the integrity of examinations in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best. You will assist with setting up of exam venues, checking examination packs, assisting candidates and actively invigilating during examinations.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring that the exam areas are set up correctly
- Supervising students whilst sitting exams
- Collating and returning examination papers and materials after the exams
- Dealing with queries that may arise during the exams
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given.
