What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit individuals who relate well to young people and adults to work as exam invigilators on a casual basis primarily during November/December and May/June for external exams but also throughout the academic year for internal exams. If you enjoy working with young people, are flexible and can fit easily into a team then this would be an ideal opportunity for you. This role may suit someone who is already working part time and looking for something extra during the school day or equally someone who is at home and thinking about working on a part time casual basis.
The actual day and times may vary throughout the season dependent upon the examination timetable and specific student needs, but would be unlikely to go beyond the school day.
What the school offers its staff
We are an 11-18 school in the picturesque village of Great Missenden in the heart of the Chilterns. We have just over 1000 students on roll including a successful and growing Sixth Form. Our staff tell us they genuinely feel like part of a team; a team who are striving to help each student flourish both academically and personally.
We are a great team at The MIsbourne, dedicated to supporting student outcomes. We have a broad range of invigilators who work with the Exams Officer, overseeing and supervising examinations to ensure all guidelines and regulations are adhered to in the supervision and running of internal and external examinations. All necessary training will be provided and you will work alongside other experienced invigilators.
Would you like to make a difference to the outcomes and life chances of young people? If so, you could become part of our dedicated team.
