Required As Soon As Possible
We are currently looking to recruit highly committed and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to ensure that exams/tests are carried out according to the rules set down. Successful candidates will work under the overall guidance of the Exams/Data Manager, but may be asked to invigilate on your own.
This role will require the successful candidates to support individual students with access arrangements e.g. reader, scribe. Readers are required to read through questions and source material for exams. A strong understanding of, and fluency in, the English language is essential as well as a clear speaking voice. Scribes are required to write on behalf of students with special educational or additional needs. Strong spelling, grammar and legible handwriting are a must.
The successful candidate will be:
- Need to be available to work in January, February, May, June and July 2026
- Able to command attention and make announcements
- Maintain a good standard of general education to be able to answer queries
- Possess good timekeeping and organisation skills
- Be familiar with and apply school policies and procedures on exams and ensure adherence by students
- Adapt to responding appropriately to behaviour issues and manage pupil behaviour.
