Salary: Grade 6, Point 16, (£25,200 FTE), 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
About Corby Technical School and the role
Corby Technical School is a free school (part of the Brooke Weston Trust) and we are seeking to appoint a professional and self-motivated Examinations Officer to join our growing team. The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of internal and public examinations. You will have relevant experience in an educational setting and be comfortable liaising with colleagues and students and leading a team of exam invigilators. Experience of managing school examinations is highly desirable but training and mentoring is available for the right candidate. You will be required to work during our May school holidays and flexibility is required during the examination results window in August.
The successful candidate will:
Work closely with colleagues across the school, building effective relationships with all staff and students.
Be a first point of contact for all staff at the school in relation to exams.
Have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel.
Have excellent interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills.
Develop and implement effective processes and maintain accurate records that contribute to the school’s aims.
