Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator job summary
We are seeking an Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator to play a pivotal role in ensuring that students with additional learning needs receive the appropriate support during examinations and assessments. This position is responsible for the planning, organisation, and delivery of internal and external examination access arrangements, as well as ensuring full compliance with awarding body regulatory requirements (e.g. JCQ).
You will work closely with teaching staff, support teams, and external bodies to manage, assess and implement exams access arrangements and ensure that every student has fair access to assessments in line with statutory guidelines.
If successful, you would play a vital role in the College, which is graded as ‘outstanding’ in all categories by Ofsted. Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive and high-quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector. During the recent exams, students at Joseph Chamberlain College achieved outstanding exam results.

Hours of work: Part-time 3 days per week, term time only. The postholder will have an opportunity to work 1 day per week away from the college site.
Salary: The salary for this post will be up to point 13 on the Sixth Form College’s Pay scale for support staff, which is currently £30,444 FTE (up to £15,555 pro-rated), and this will be adjusted in line with the hours and term-time contract.
