Exams Invigilator job summary
The Role
As a Casual Invigilator, you will:
- Supervise and ensure the proper conduct of examinations in line with JCQ and school regulations.
- Safeguard the security of exam papers and materials.
- Assist students who require additional support (acting as a reader or scribe when required).
- Provide a calm, supportive presence to help students succeed under exam conditions.

- Good communication skills and a confident manner.
- The ability to issue clear instructions and manage groups of candidates.
- Reliability, flexibility and a professional approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality at all times.
