Exams Manager job summary
Due to the expansion of our professional support staff team, we are recruiting a number of professional support staff roles.
The main purpose of the Exams Manager role is to plan, administer and organise the annual exam cycle, to deliver all examinations, both internal and public, in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies, and in college policies and procedures. You will submit examination entries and generate schedules, make provision for students requiring special arrangements and for clash candidates, invoice chargeable entries and manage the distribution of results and certificates. You will also provide training for invigilators and line manage the Examinations Assistant as well produce summaries of examination entries and results on a periodic basis.
You will need to be confident working on your own and be self-motivated with excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will have a friendly and welcoming disposition, excellent communication skills, outstanding administrative skills and a flexible and pro-active attitude and able to take direction where needed. You will be able to demonstrate working with confidentiality and discretion. The successful candidate will have the ability to relate well and communicate effectively with colleagues, students, parents and external agencies.
