Exams Officer

Grade D £25,628 - £28,326 FTE according to experience

Actual Salary £23,607 - £26,092 per annum

Based on 37 hours a week, 42 weeks per year (term time) with 3 additional weeks to be worked including out of term time as agreed with Line Manager for effective completion of the role

Working hours – Monday – Thursday, 0800 – 1600 & Friday 0800 – 1530

Some flexibility will be required to working hours during exam periods and in the event of the absence of the MIS and Cover Manager

Cams Hill School are seeking to appoint a full time Exams Officer who will report to the MIS and Cover Manager. The Exams Officer is responsible for the strategic oversight, administration, and operational management of all public examinations relating to GCSE and other examinations in keeping with the requirements as set by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) as well as the running of internal examinations such as Mock Exams and In Class Assessments.

You will also be required to support the MIS and Cover Manager with teacher cover arrangements to minimise disruption to pupil learning and ensure adequate staffing levels. Cams Hill School has an enthusiastic and committed team of administrative support staff who work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, HR, pastoral teams, and teachers, to ensure the best possible experiences and outcomes for pupils.

You must be resilient and committed to achieving the highest standards, have the ability and stamina to work to deadlines, be able to use your own initiative, identify when you need to seek guidance or authority and demonstrate great administration experience and understanding of IT systems.
