The successfully appointed candidate will join a caring and committed body of staff and enjoy working with friendly and enthusiastic students of whom we are extremely proud.

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Exams Officer to drive all aspects of examinations at the Academy during a period of maternity cover. The role is offered working 35 hours per week, 42 working weeks per year (term time plus 5 development days and additional 3 weeks). The successful applicant will play a key role in the effective planning, coordination, and administration of all internal and external examinations within the academy. The postholder is responsible for ensuring that examination processes run smoothly, in full compliance with awarding body regulations, and that all students are given the appropriate arrangements and support to enable them to perform to the best of their ability. This includes maintaining a high level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail across all aspects of exam administration.

The successful candidate should:

  • Have the ability to build and establish successful relationships with pupils and their families.
  • Have excellent communication skills; written, spoken and electronic.
  • Hold the necessary skillset to produce and analyse data reports in relation to attendance.
  • Knowledge of Arbor desirable.
