Exams Officer job summary

You are:

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a school setting
  • Well-organised and proactive with strong administrative and ICT skills and attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator, with good people skills and a supportive team player
  • Flexible, responsive and self-motivated
  • Confident in handling confidential/sensitive data and information and to working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties

You will:

  • Plan and manage the exam timetable, ensure proper invigilation, and oversee the secure handling of exam materials.
  • Maintain secure storage and retrieval of coursework and exam data, advise teachers on regulations, and prepare examination reports.
  • Oversee coursework processes, coordinate moderation and submission deadlines, and liaise on fees and payments.
  • Monitor and control the examinations office budget to ensure efficient use of funds.
  • Outside of exam period the successful candidate will provide whole school admin support.
