Exams Officer job summary
You are:
- Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a school setting
- Well-organised and proactive with strong administrative and ICT skills and attention to detail
- An excellent communicator, with good people skills and a supportive team player
- Flexible, responsive and self-motivated
- Confident in handling confidential/sensitive data and information and to working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
You will:
- Plan and manage the exam timetable, ensure proper invigilation, and oversee the secure handling of exam materials.
- Maintain secure storage and retrieval of coursework and exam data, advise teachers on regulations, and prepare examination reports.
- Oversee coursework processes, coordinate moderation and submission deadlines, and liaise on fees and payments.
- Monitor and control the examinations office budget to ensure efficient use of funds.
- Outside of exam period the successful candidate will provide whole school admin support.
