Executive Assistant to the Executive Principal job summary

We are seeking a diligent, organised and professional Executive Assistant to provide high‑level, confidential executive and administrative support to the Executive Principal of Haberdashers' Hatcham College. You will be the key point of contact for staff, governors, parents, external agencies and visitors and will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Executive Principal’s office through outstanding diary management, communication and administrative support. The role requires someone who can work flexibly, respond to changing priorities and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive school community where your contribution will have a direct impact on the effectiveness of school leadership and operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Executive Principal
  • Managing diaries, meetings, correspondence and confidential documentation on behalf of the Executive Principal
  • Supporting governance and compliance processes
  • Assisting with recruitment administration and school events
  • Project management
