Executive Assistant job summary
Full time (37 hours per week), Term time plus 1 week (including training days)
Yorkshire Learning Trust is seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer and Central Team.
This is a key role at the heart of our Trust. You will provide high-quality executive support while also acting as a central point of coordination and communication across our schools and central services. You will help ensure that information, decisions and priorities are well organised, clearly communicated and followed through effectively.
The role includes:
- Supporting the CEO and Executive Team of Yorkshire Learning Trust with high-level organisation, communication and workflow
- Acting as a central point of contact, ensuring enquiries and information are directed appropriately
- Drafting and quality assuring communications, including formal and sensitive correspondence (including confidential and safeguarding-related matters where appropriate)
- Supporting governance processes and Trust-wide coordination
- Organising meetings, events and stakeholder activities (including governor, staff and student events) across the Trust
- Contributing to projects that support the development of systems, processes and communication
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an excellent communicator, with strong written skills
- Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Is confident using Microsoft 365 (including Teams and shared systems)
- Enjoys working with people and building positive relationships
- Takes pride in helping organisations run smoothly and professionally
