The successful candidate must:
- Demonstrate a history of strategic leadership, particularly in relation to the leadership of people, curriculum and outcomes.
- Exhibit a fervour for enhancing educational standards and providing high quality leadership by motivating others;
- Demonstrate a commitment to growing your own leadership behaviours and the ability to learn from others
- Forge robust partnerships with staff, parents and the wider community, steering transformative change and shaping the future direction of the academies they lead.
- Commitment to working as part of a wider team and an understanding and support of the Trust wide priorities and direction.

Further details about the role
We are looking to appoint Executive Head Teachers across the Trust (East Sussex & London) for the academic year 2025/26, this role is ideal for existing Head Teachers who are ready for the next stage of their development. We are currently in a transitional model of leadership across the Trust and this is an exciting time to become part of a team shaping and developing the next stage of the Trust’s future. The role will involve the successful candidate being Head Teacher of one academy and Executive Head Teacher of one other academy within the Trust.
You will provide strategic leadership and hold overall accountability for direction and high quality education which promotes the highest possible standards of achievement and well-being. As an experienced professional, you will be able to demonstrate strategic leadership and excellent people management skills, together with a proven track record of success in raising standards. You will be able to demonstrate that you can work with the wider Executive Team and drive the STEP compass priorities within the remit.
