What skills and experience we're looking for

The Grange School is looking for passionate people to join our SEND team. We’ve worked hard to make huge improvements to our SEND provision since our previous inspection.

This is an exciting opportunity for a SEN LSA to join our school and become part of our fabulous team. This post is suitable for someone looking for a term-time position.

Hours are 8.40-3.15 2 days a week and 8.40-4.30 3 days per week, 39 weeks per year.

You will be required to work with students of a range of abilities to help them achieve their academic targets.

You Must

  • Have a passion for supporting children with their learning
  • Be confident working with children of different abilities
  • Have a good understanding of all curriculum subjects
  • Have experience working in a school environment supporting children with SEN
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly, and confident
  • Have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities
  • Be able to work effectively in a team

Key responsibilities within the role:

  • Supporting children
  • Working across various different subjects
  • Supporting class teachers
  • To ensure that all students feel safe and comfortable
