Experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher job summary

We are seeking a teacher to work in Upper Key Stage 2 of our school, with excellent subject knowledge and a successful track who can contribute to improving the learning experience of our young pupils. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in Key Stage 2, demonstrating strong subject knowledge, high expectations for pupil achievement and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

The role will include:

  • Teaching all aspects of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring well-planned, engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Maintaining high standards of pupil progress, behaviour and well being

  • Contributing positively to team planning, assessment and moderation

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil success.

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Is an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher with a strong understanding of the Upper KS2 Curriculum

  • Has high expectation of all pupils and a commitment to raising standards

  • Experience of designing and teaching effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and effective behaviour management

  • An ability to communicate effectively with children, young people, colleagues and parents/carers and is passionate about making a difference.
