Are you an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 teacher with a passion for inspiring young learners? This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils at Hackney New Primary School, part of Compass Eko Trust. Starting in September 2026, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, helping pupils achieve their full potential in a vibrant, multi-cultural school environment.
What you'll be doing:
Teaching all aspects of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum through well-planned, engaging, and inclusive lessons.
Ensuring high standards of pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
Contributing to team planning, assessment, and moderation.
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil success.

Has significant experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and a strong understanding of the curriculum.
Sets high expectations for all pupils and is committed to raising standards.
Designs and delivers effective lessons tailored to meet diverse pupil needs.
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and effective behaviour management.
Communicates effectively with children, colleagues, and parents/carers, and is passionate about making a difference.
