Extended Play Worker job summary
We are a thriving infant and nursery school with an independent Pre-School on-site. We all work closely together to ensure the children in our school have a very positive experience whilst they are with us. We have a wonderful team who are passionate about education and who have high expectations for all our children, ensuring that they thrive in all aspects of their development. We work hard to provide a flexible, practical, creative and exciting curriculum that meets the interests and needs of the children in our school. The Role
The role will involve supervising and supporting children under the direction of the Head teacher/Deputy Head teacher, to ensure the safety and well-being of pupils to help the children experience a positive after school provision as well following school routines and our school code.
We wish to appoint someone who:
- Builds positive relationships with our children (aged 3 -7) and colleagues.
- Shows initiative and enthusiasm and is always kind and caring.
- Is curious about children's behaviour and is keen to develop strategies to support children's behaviour.
