Springmead School is part of the Spiral Partnership Trust which is a community of schools formed in 2016 with Excellent Teaching and Learning, Always and Everywhere at its heart. We have been awarded an Ofsted “Good” rating in all areas of the school and are now working toward becoming an outstanding school. To help us in our journey, we are currently looking to recruit an Early Years Teacher for maternity cover from 23rd February 2026 . We are moving towards an innovative and exciting way of teaching , including Google Classroom and using generative AI to enhance the teaching and learning of English writing, feedback and assessment.This position is to cover a period of maternity but there are future opportunities within the school and Spiral Partnership Trust for the right person. There is 0.8 FTE teaching commitment.We can offer you:

We are looking for a teacher who;

• Has experience of working in Early Years and Key Stage 1 settings

• An enthusiasm for using Google Classroom and other technologies to support effective teaching and learning
• Is passionate about inspiring children in their learning

• Is keen to learn and develop
• Is a good team player
