What skills and experience we're looking for
To create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning.
To plan and prepare lessons in order to deliver the National Curriculum ensuring breadth and balance in all subjects.
To identify clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes, with appropriate challenge and high expectations.
To maintain good order and behaviour among the pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
To provide an educational environment which supports groups or individual pupils, ensuring differentiation of learning needs, reflecting all abilities and backgrounds.
To plan opportunities to develop the social, emotional and cultural aspects of pupils’ learning and development.
To maintain and use systems of monitoring, assessment, record-keeping and reporting of children’s progress.
To prepare appropriate pupil reports
To ensure effective use of support staff and volunteers within the classroom.
To participate in staff meetings as required.
To be part of a whole school team
To ensure that school policies are reflected in daily practice.
To communicate and consult with parents over all aspects of their children’s education – academic, social and emotional.
To liaise with outside agencies when appropriate
To take responsibility for your own professional development
To meet with parents and appropriate agencies, to contribute positively to the education of the children concerned.
To support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in promoting the ethos of the school.

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future? We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic and preferably experienced EYFS Class Teacher to join our enthusiastic team at Earlsmead Primary School.
Earlsmead Primary School is a happy and inclusive school in the heart of South Tottenham, with approximately 470 pupils.
This year we opened an Autism Resource Provision (ARB) and are helping lead Haringey in providing services to meet the complex needs of autistic children.
We encourage you to come and visit, meet our welcoming staff and wonderful children and experience the community we have here at Earlsmead.
