EYFS Class Teacher job summary

Experience of teaching in EYFS (Reception) whether in a previous role or on a training placement.

To have a clear understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and its application.

Knowledge of strategies that enable the teacher to teach mixed ability pupils within the same class and provide work which is adapted to ensure all pupils access from their starting points.

Knowledge and understanding of assessment and its contribution to the planning cycle.
