About the role: Horsmonden Primary Academy has an opportunity for a passionate and experienced EYFS Class Teacher to join us from September 2021. Our appointed candidate’s main focus will be to maintain our strong practice in EYFS. We work together to achieve excellence for all, creating confident, resilient children. The Academy continues to go from strength to strength and it is a fantastic time to join us on our journey. Our children will benefit hugely from an energetic, highly motivated, solution-driven and forward-thinking teacher who places them at the centre of school life, with high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make a full contribution to their Key Stage, curriculum development and staff teams. We welcome applications from experienced teachers. In return, we will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their career.
The role is offered on a fixed term basis as maternity cover, with a salary commensurate with experience (Main Pay Scale).
What we will expect of you: We will expect you to successfully plan and deliver outstanding lessons on a daily basis that significantly advance each childs’ development. We anticipate you will achieve this by being organised, caring and enthusiastic in everything you do.
As part of Leigh Academies Trust you will also be expected to collaborate with your peers both within the academy and across the whole Trust. This is an important part of our vision as we know through experience that we perform better when we work together. You will also be expected to undertake regular self development to continue your professional development and hopefully progress further within the organisation.
We want you to be passionate in your pursuit of progress for each and every one of your children so that they can achieve the progress they deserve and grow into young adults that will go on to be successful students at secondary school. Each and every member of staff, regardless of their position or seniority, is expected to participate in the overall running of the school and to act as a positive role model for our students. In and out of the classroom you will encourage and promote positive behaviour and effectively manage any situation that threatens to impact on the progress of other students.
