What skills and experience we're looking for

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly skilled teaching practitioner to join our EYFS team for 3 days a week. We provide a caring, Catholic ethos and a supportive and friendly community, committed to nurturing and developing the uniqueness of each child.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner;

  • Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour;

  • Be fully committed to upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school in all aspects;

  • Be an excellent communicator, with good organisational and interpersonal skills;

  • Be determined to enable children to fulfil their potential;

  • Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment;

  • Be highly effective in leading a curriculum area;

  • Have experience of the EYFS curriculum.
